I assume that we have already configured State Migration Point. If not, you can read the post below.
We are going to capture user state and copy it to State Migration Point and then restore the user data after OS is installed with this Task Sequence.
Create a new Task Sequence
Choose "Install an existing image package"
Give proper name to the TS and select boot image
Choose the Image package, select partition and format the target computer... option and Select "Enable the account and specify the local administrator password" and enter the password
Enter domain information and specify an account which is authorized to join computers to the domain
Select Config Manager Client Package. You may enter client package installation properties if you prefer.
On this step, we are specifying that we will use State Migration Point to keep user state data
I dont want to install software updates with this TS
You may add applications that you want to install
and complete the rest of the wizard. Deploy this Task Sequence and run the Task Sequence from Software Center on the client computer.
